Cat & Macka- The Night Yard

So I was fortunate enough to photograph our amazing friends wedding Cat & Macka, they are very close friends with my boyfriend and I have been lucky enough to get to know them both well over the last few years. Cat being Scottish and Macka being part of the PNM crew, you know you are going to have a messy party ahead of you, my boyfriend being both of those two things, being Scottish and in PNM crew, he definitely achieved this around the speeches time. I did put down my camera halfway through the day and began to regret it when Tron got on the decks,  and it was in for an amazing evening. I hope I have captured the day as you remember until the hours of the day you probably didn't remember. Can't wait to continue our friendship with you both Mr & Mrs Mackay Miller!!..................JJP xx

Ed & Grace- Browsholme Hall

So this was the weekend of two weddings, both being 300 miles apart from one another, late Saturday night I trekked up the M6 a very long time, but it was definitely worth it. This wedding smashed it out the park. I was lucky enough to be part-guest as I have known Ed for a few years, I can definitely say these guys can party!! I managed to capture a sparkler shot whilst slightly drunk, so I am pretty happy! Wishing you both an amazing future together and il catch up sopn with you both... xx

Nicola & Gareth- Hookhouse Farm

So my last wedding this year at this gorgeous venue... So I need to top the engagement shoot I did with Nicola & Gareth, it was an epic engagement...I am pretty sure this tops it. Best moment was when the best man asked if was ok for him to Photoshop himself in some on the engagement photos, I did initally think, these are going to be rubbish.....they were amazing...I didn't include the one of him running away naked in the fields in this blog but I can leave you with that image.. Thanks for being an amazing couple and I hope myself and Michael my assistant have catptured your day how you remembered it....JJP x

Lianne & Dave- Gildings Barn

Ahh this wedding.......where to start. It was such a pleasure to photograph these two, so easy to get on with and everything about this wedding was stunning. The ceremony has to be one of my fav's, I loved how personal it was, all the legal stuff done on another day and all that remained was amazing personal vows, and a friend who conducted the ceremony. We were lucky with the light and had the most amazing golden hour, I got to work with my fav's MD Flix again and to top it off, rainbow canon confetti...my fav, even better when the bridesmaid points it at her feet rather than up in the air!! Congrats you two......lots of love JJP xx

Sarah & David- Millbridge Court

I have known David since he was a little 7 year old, tagging along to my birthday party at Water Palace (best place ever) coz my brother was allowed to bring some of his new friends, from where we had moved to since leaving our hometown of Croydon. Flash forward twenty-five years and his sister is my little sister and his family is our second family. So it was only natural when Sarah came along she would fit in nicely as very close family friends.  I hadn't been to Millbridge Court before, and it was such a beautiful venue, and I loved their personal touches with the name tags, balloons, and the help yourself ice-cream station. I hope I have captured the day how you remembered it, and thank you for having as your photographer/guest..........JJP xx

Becky & Andy- Hookhouse Farm

One thing this weekend didn't have enough of was colour, lots of rainbow colours, rainbow socks, rainbow lanterns and rainbow confetti which almost didn't make it there....that's another story. Unfortunetly this is the first wedding I have shot at Hookhouse where it rained, and it did rain and rain but like most English Summers, it did stop every now and then. I knew when I met Becky and Andy for the first time and Becky mentioned she was a set designer, I knew this was going to be a colourful imaginative wedding, and it was. I had so much fun photographing you guys, loved the dancing and all the amazing details for me to capture. I hope you had an amazing day and I hope these photos bring back memories for you both. Massive thanks to Jade for assisting me again..JJP xx

Hayley & Ben- Garden Wedding

#partyvibes pretty much sums up this wedding, jaeger bombs, cocktails and people on the dancefloor before the food as even come out. My kind of people. I met Hayley at a wedding last year, I was photographing and she was doing the brides hair, she liked my style and the rest is history. I hadn't met Ben before, he wasn't too up for having his photo taken in the morning, but after a few beers, I couldn't get him away from the camera, plus he was busting out his hilarious dance move, yes move not moves. I am not one to take so many posed photos but everyone was up for it, everyone was smashed by 6pm and I was even asked to go to the after party.....if I hadn't had to drive, of course I would have been there. Hayley & Ben hope you like this summary of the day and wish you all the happiness together. J x

James & Holly- The Jolly Farmer- Cookham Dean

“One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. ‘Which road do I take?’ she asked. ‘Where do you want to go?’ was his response. ‘I don’t know,’ Alice answered. ‘Then,’ said the cat, ‘it doesn’t matter.”

You may wonder why I quoted Alice in Wonderland? Well, Holly & James wedding reception was themed around the children's story, and the quote felt apt for how they met, travelling around the world for Virgin Airways whose motto is 'to embrace the human spirit and let it fly'. This wedding was a beautiful relaxed wedding, in a marquee in Holly's home town local pub, simple and stunning. It is always nice catching up with the Perry's, a family I have known for a while now, and love having a natter with the grandparents, catching up over lost time, although I am caught up most of the time by Joseph and his massive barnet at weddings when we cross paths. I cannot describe how amazing Holly looked, and how luckily James is (only joking) looking back over the photos, I honestly don't think I have captured two people more in love and makes me smile every time I look ay my computer screen. I hope I have captured the day as you remember and wishing you all the happiness as Mr & Mrs Perry xx

Joanne & Ben- Kings Chapel, Amersham

My most vivid memory with these two, is searching for our hire car on the Amalfi coast, yes we didn't lose it, it was towed away. I was fortunate enough to shoot their engagement shoot on the Amalfi coast, no they didn't fly me over especially for that ( but yes you can do this if future bride and grooms are reading this) we were already over there, shooting Jo's best friends wedding. Fast forward to this gorgeous Saturday in July, I think these two are one of my most relaxed couples to be around, instantly make you feel welcome and instantly start copying Jo's Northern accent, one thing I always do but do it badly, I think I sounded Scottish. Jo & Ben have green blood, like me, for those non-partnership people who have no idea what I am talking about, is that we all work/worked in my case at John Lewis, and this is where I met Jo, and believe is where they both met. Their day, was easy to capture, beautiful weather, beautiful bride and everything in-between. I hope your future together is amazing and you have lots of fun together, hope these photos capture the day as you remembered. Massive thanks to my assistant Jade, as always, my partner in crime.

Louise & Rupert- Garden Wedding

So Lou used to be my boss way back when I was pulling pints in the local pub, she was a babe and one amazing boss, I had an easy life, serving Dame Judi Dench and running up to the store room as quickly as I could coz I was told it was haunted upstairs. This wedding....seriously I haven't seen a more amazing marquee, so many flowers! This wedding was pretty laid back, no church photos and no cutting of the cake...which is my kind of wedding. They were never going to do things by halves, I mean these two have a disco ball in their kitchen and a champagne bar in their garden (yes this wasn't built for the wedding, it was already there) And to top it off their first dance was to Rick Astley, I mean, come on......I hope you have an amazing life together with your huge family, drinking champagne till your both really really old......lots of love xxxx

P.s thanks to my assistant Michael for helping me, even when I was slightly poorly that day

Lauren & Lee- The Red Barn

I met this beautiful lot a couple of years ago at Lauren's cousin's wedding where I was seconding for my mate Kelly Love (who is also related to them) So I knew this was going to be a good looking crowd. At this wedding we had a bridesmaid who smashed up her knee at the hen do, a saxophonist who made me feel like we were in Ibiza, the biggest buffet line I had ever seen and another bridesmaid who was flashing her boobs on the dancefloor. This wedding was a fairly relaxed affair, and reflected in their love of having fun and skipping through the usual boring wedding milarky. Massive congrats to these two, and wishing you loads of happiness in the future. Also massive thanks to Jade Eleanor Photography for assisting me. xx

Laura & Luke- Lains Barn

So this lovely couple came to meet me at my boyfriend's restaurant in London and spent the evening chatting away over his famous Jerk Chicken, fast forward a few months to their wedding day. I started the day getting lost around where they live I had to stop and ask some burly blokes moving heavy furniture what road I was on to their embarrassed reply 'this is CandyCane Drop Lane' or something to that ridiculousness, I was evidently on the wrong road...I was looking for Snowdrop Sugar Lane...(only joking) So the day went like this.... I had a crying groom (my fav) a strange garden game that almost took my assistant Laura out, very close, but quite funny. A groom's mother downing Jaeger bombs and me forgetting some equipment at the end and having to do a 45min round trip to go back and collect them (annoying!) Anyway have a fab life together you two, and massive thanks to my assistant Laura Martha Photography.....xxxx

Lucy & Adam- Hookhouse Farm

Back again at Hookhouse, a place I know well. If you manage to get a booking here, you are very lucky. Lucy & Adam booked well over 3 years ago (I think) and booked me as well, so I feel like I had known these two for a while, being Facebook friends, these two love a selfie! Haha. The reason I love weddings at Hookhouse is because it is a laid back venue, but every couple always makes a massive effort to make the barn look so gorgeous, not that it needs any enhansing, but I love a fairy light! The barn looked stunning, Lucy looked like a freaking stunner of a bride, and I got to work with my A-team MDFlix again, so I was winning alround, plus I got fed hog roast and got to choose the less fatty parts and lots of crackling, my fav! Congrats you two, looks like you had an amazing honeymoon and hope you like this little sample of photos to sum up the day...

p.s massive thanks to my assistant Miguel  xx

Lindzi & Steve- Villa Antiche Mura- Sorrento Italy

The perks of my job would be to be flown around the world to cpature the most stunning of weddings, plus I get to explore and travel at the same time. Lindzi and Steve kindly asked me to go out to the stunning town of Sorrento, famous for its lemons. Italy is pretty popular for us Brits to fly our family and friends out to, for garenteed sunshine, and it didn't dissapoint. Sun and steps sum up the day for me, we treked over 100 steps with Lindzi and Steve down to the beachfront to capture the golden hour sunset shots, and it was 100% worth it. I had so much fun shooting this wedding and looking forward to catching up with them both at Lindzi's bridesmaids wedding next week.  Thanks to my homegirl Paula Broome Photography for spending the weekend eating fish and drinking numerous amounts of Prosecco x

Victoria & Tom- Buckhurst Park

So back again to do a Limpenny wedding, and I love a Limpenny wedding mainly because of Mike and Carol, the amazing parents, who make my life very easy. Plus Mike has to be my fav dad, due to his ability to make him cry pretty easily. You may remember a few years ago when I posted the best dad reaction ever to his seeing his daughter in her dress for the first time.....well he did it again! I feel at home with this lot, Palace fans, love dogs and like George said... I am part of the furniture now. So Vic & Tom, this wedding.... Bentleys, Band, Blubbering dad and has to be one of the best speeches collectively I have heard.. 'Daddy couldn't get the Bentley out the drive because of the snow' has to be my fav quote on when Tom first heard Vic across the office.

I need another wedding to photograph where my fav Limpenny/Harris/Raby people will be. Hope you like this little selection I made and wishing you all the happiness in the world xx

Massive thanks to Jade Eleanor Photography for assisting me! P.S some morning pics of Tom are missing on blog as I am waiting for Jades USB to come through, so will update soon x

Hayley & Mark- Bartholomew Barn

So after numerous emails/messages/facebook messages from Hayley, I was booked up and everyone who knows Hayley, she is extremely organized, maybe too organized if that's such a thing, but her hard work paid off, their wedding was beautiful. I hadn't been to Bartholomew Barn before, but it's such a beautiful location and were blessed with amazing weather. Again their church I hadn't been to either and it was located on top of a hill and was a beaut of a church. I fell in love with the bridesmaid's dresses and Hayley's niece who was the flower girl was the perfect model. Thanks to you both for trusting your day with me, Miguel and myself had a lot of fun, I hope these photos bring back some happy memories for you.....just a small fraction of the photos to come.....love JJ x

Leanne & Ben- Ghyll Manor

Leanne & Ben.......what a stunning day. The morning started pretty relaxed, loved how Leanne's parents had done up the house before the wedding, and loved their kitchen and wine cabinet, something I want in my kitchen! Leanne's dad, you will see in the pics, when he saw her walk down the stairs it is up there in my top favourite 'dad reactions' and of course as always, I cried.
Again I am so lucky with my bride and grooms, they are so laid back and easy to get on with and the people I like to call friends after, this wedding gave me some awesome 'dance floor' photos as they did a walk down style dance-off.
Again working with the amazing MD Flix and Jade Eleanor Photography, thanks again for a memorable day xx

Joanna & Christophe- South Lodge

So, I frigging love Jo, I have known Jo for years, but we parted our ways a few years back (not our fault) she has this personality that is so infectious and you start talking and acting like her, and she is incredibly funny, probably all the things why Christophe fell for her. Together they have a beauty of a boy called Jacques if you have picked up already, French names. We had a half French/English service complete with Jo's mum conducting the choir, which made Jo and myself cry. So if you are not aware of South Lodge, they have the biggest bush in the country, sorry rhododendron bush, we tried to get some pics in front, but the harsh sun was out. I love the French language, and have been trying to learn again, even more so now after this wedding, as it made me fall in love with it, plus the speeches were double long as we had to hear them in French as well, which is fine, seeing as I love it so much. I am sorry for lots of pics of Jo & Christophes' niece, I mean she was the cutest thing ever....

Vous souhaitant tout le bonheur de votre futur ensemble (good old Google) xxx

Emma & Stuart- The Spread Eagle

If anyone has a Mustang at their wedding, they already score very high points with me, as this was the car that made me swipe right for my boyfriend, as he owns a 1966. If you haven't been to the spread eagle, it's beautiful, Emma & Stuart were married in their Jacobean hall in April this year. This wedding was full of kids, great food, and laughs. I gave my pearls of wisdom to Emmas sister and had a laugh with my partner in crime Kelly Love Photography. Thanks Em & Stuart for a beautiful day xx
